Talent Acquisition Strategist (Contract - 3-6 Months)


*Must be located in Indianapolis/Whiteland, IN or surrounding areas


Hybrid role combining remote work with on-site and local travel as necessary

Summary


The Talent Acquisition Strategist will be responsible for the sourcing and full cycle recruiting for Distribution Center positions.  Build pipelines for hard-to fill, critical positions as well as keeping D&H on the cutting edge of recruiting using online tools and establishing relationships with source schools, and any other opportunities that may exist for us to find the best talent for D&H. 




Responsibilities



  • Full cycle recruiting for all DC positions which include both High Volume Hourly Recruitment as well as operational salaried roles.

  • Establish strong positive relationships with hiring managers.

  • Learn and understand the positions and talent within D&H.

  • Maintain recruiting database and spreadsheets and be able to analyze this information to make decisions to improve recruiting process.

  • Use creative, passive, and direct sourcing techniques such as networking, relationship building, referral inquiries, candidate pipelining, database mining, internet searching, and cold calling.

  • Establish relationships with schools, businesses and recruiters to put D&H at the forefront for skilled potential talent.




Requirements



  • Education

    1. Bachelor’s degree preferred



  • Experience

    1. 2+ years in a distribution/logistics recruiting (or similar) role filling a variety of positions 

    2. Experience with ADP Workforce Now preferred
