About the job

Drive innovation in PVC polymerization processes through laboratory research, data analysis, and technical expertise, ensuring safety and sustainability. 

In your future role as “ R&D Laboratory Scientist” you will

·        Perform PVC polymerization experiments, covering both conventional and innovative processes.

·        Analyze experimental data, prepare detailed reports, and propose improved polymerization pathways.

·        Conduct polymer characterization using analytical instruments.

·        Ensure strict compliance with laboratory safety protocols and company EHS standards.

·        Contribute to patent drafting and technical documentation related to new process development.

·        Collaborate with internal and global R&D teams to share findings and support innovation initiatives.

·        Work closely with marketing team to support customer-related technical services and provide technical insights.

Great if you have

 

·        Experience in developing new polymerization technologies or process optimization.

·        Proficient in PVC synthesis, particularly in suspension polymerization.

·        Knowledge of patent drafting and technical documentation.

We believe you are...

·        Master’s degree or above in Polymer Chemistry, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, or related fields; Ph.D. preferred.

·        3–4 years of relevant experience in polymer synthesis.

·        Solid understanding of polymer polymerization mechanisms and common processes, i.e. suspension polymerization.

·        Hands-on experience in polymer characterization.

·        Ability to use English as the primary working language (both written and spoken).

·        Strong sense of safety, attention to detail, and good teamwork skills.

·        Effective communication and collaboration in a multicultural environment.
