Job Description

Catholic Health's Commack Ambulatory Hub is a multispecialty care center designed with one mission in mind: to deliver exceptional patient care in a safe, comfortable and convenient environment outside the hospital setting. 

 

Join our dynamic interdisciplinary team that's dedicated to providing innovative, compassionate care to our community. 

 

Full Time & Part-Time positions available. 

 

We're currently looking for Certified Medical Assistants and Medical Receptionists to support our Commack ambulatory hub.

 

Certified Medical Assistant Qualifications:

  • Completion of a NYS-accredited Medical Assistant program.
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Current BLS certification (AHA, in-person only).
  • National MA certification preferred.
  • Proficiency in phlebotomy, EHR systems, clinical procedures, and aseptic technique.
  • Strong communication, organization, and multitasking skills.

 

Medical Receptionist Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or GED required; Associates degree or completion of a related specialty program in an accredited school is preferred.

  • Microsoft Office Suite proficiency, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook

  • Excellent interpersonal skills and effective written and oral communication skills to enhance population specific service, team collaboration and analytical problem solving

  • Knowledge of medical terminology desirable

  • Can multitask and work efficiently

  • Able to use, maintain and troubleshoot office equipment
