Job Description:

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Responsible for the measurement and effectiveness of all plant operations and processes.
• Plan and execute a production plan to provide high quality parts, on-time consistent with external customer’s demands and timing, also develop and execute strategies to effectively make transactional and manufacturing processes more safe, efficient, and eliminating waste.
• Achieve monthly production order by coordinating the efforts of manufacturing, engineering, quality, and materials departments to assure that adequate 5M's (Man, Material, Machines, Methods and Money) are available to meet customer orders in a safely, timely and efficient manner.
• Establish targets and monitor all elements of manufacturing costs including labor, material, and performance to standards, set-up, process variance, lost time, scrap, and rework to assure they do not exceed projected levels. Control operating plan vs. actual for manufacturing operations’ departments to achieve efficient facility operation.
• Work with customers from various industries to comply with their standards and requirements.
• Recognize, differentiate, and manage each customer’s needs, prepare audits for customers.
• Work closely with Engineering and Quality Assurance department from other regions to achieve high quality levels for parts and products.
• Promote productivity improvement/cost reduction through methods, process, and tooling improvements and the procurement of necessary machinery and equipment.
• Provide annual plans to upgrade the facility and surrounding grounds to provide a safe working environment as well as a pleasing appearance to our customers and visitors.
• Achieve optimum employee levels, coping with rapid changing in manufacturing demand.
• Identifies, recommends and implements changes to improve productivity and reduce cost and scrap, monitor scrap and rework data. Directs the establishment, implementation and maintenance of production standards.
• Collaborate with the management team to develop and implement plans for the operational infrastructure of systems, processes and personnel designed to accommodate the rapid growth objectives of the organization.
• Motivate and lead a high-performance team; mentor and cultivate direct reports to develop skills and to increase awareness of the interrelationship between each department in the operations groups.
• Implement, uphold and fulfil with all Mitsubishi Chemical Advance Materials safety standards and other organizational policies.
