We are currently seeking candidates for the following position!

 

PURPOSE OF POSITION:

The Associate Inventory Control Clerk will accurately perform daily cycle counts, complete counts for parts believed to have errors, and assist the Distribution / Inventory Control Supervisor in root cause analyses and corrective action implementation.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING:

  • Maintains accurate inventory records using inventory management software or database systems.
  • Monitors inventory levels and tracks inventory movements, including receipts, transfers, and withdrawals.
  • Conducts regular physical inventory counts and reconciles discrepancies between physical counts and system records.
  • Analyzes inventory data to identify trends, variances, and potential issues, and report findings to management.
  • Performs cycle counts and spot checks to ensure inventory accuracy and integrity.
  • Coordinates with production and warehouse teams to prioritize inventory tasks and ensure efficient flow of materials.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

·          Minimum one year experience in Cycle Count or Inventory Control Related Experience required

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

·          High School Diploma or equivalent required.

 OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

·         Computer literate in a Windows Environment; Excel, Word, Internet.

·         Basic math skills.

·         Accurate counting skills.

·         Detail oriented.

·         Good organizational skills.

·         Ability to work as part of a team.

·         Must be self-motivated with ability to use own initiative.

·         Able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

·         Able to complete projects under tight deadlines.

·         Legible handwriting.

·         Strong written and verbal communication skills.

·         Strong interpersonal skills.

·         Able to maintain confidentiality.

·         Able to handle routine assignments of a repetitive nature.

·         Able to perform repetitive motion with hands and arms.

·         Good visual acuity.

·         Ability to determine defects or flaws in motherboard parts after having undergone training.

 

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

·         Ability to lift up to 30 pounds.

·         Able to squat to lift boxes weighing up to 30 pounds.

·         Able to stand, stoop and bend.

·         Ability to walk and stand on cement floors for long periods.

·         Ability to work overtime, including Saturdays

·         Able to work in warehouse environment.

·         Able to handle routine assignments of a repetitive nature.

·         Able to perform repetitive motion with hands and arms

·         Able to wear ESD protection as required.

·         Good visual acuity.

·         Able to operate a pallet jack.
