About the Role

As a QCI Trainer, you’ll serve a vital dual role: inspecting HVAC installation jobs for quality and safety, while also delivering hands-on technical training for our install team. This position directly supports the Install Manager and ensures our teams are not only code-compliant but Goettl-excellent. You’ll have a keen eye for detail, a passion for mentoring others, and the drive to maintain our industry-leading installation standards.

COMPENSATION: $40-$45 DOE.   This is part of a total compensation package that includes pay, paid time off, health, dental, and wellness benefits, as well as a 401K plan.

What You’ll Do

  • Conduct jobsite visits to assess installation quality via our QCI (Quality Control Inspection) program
  • Ensure 100% completion and high performance (90%+ scores) on all iAuditor inspections
  • Provide technical training on installation standards and HVAC code compliance
  • Audit and update QCI documentation to reflect new technologies and best practices
  • Support safe, clean, and efficient job site operations
  • Immediately address callbacks, warranty issues, and any customer concerns tied to installations
  • Model a “do-whatever-it-takes” attitude that inspires the team to deliver 5-star service

What You Bring

  • A committed and progressive work history in HVAC installation or inspection- 3 years or more preferred
  • Proven ability to coach and train field teams to success
  • Ability to pass a background and drug screen upon offer
  • Clean motor vehicle record and active driver’s license
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
  • Highly computer literate – proficient in MS Office, iAuditor, and related tools
  • Strong decision-making, problem-solving, and time management capabilities
  • High attention to detail and a drive for perfection
  • Physical ability to travel locally, climb ladders, kneel, and inspect job sites as required
