JOB DUTIES
- Accept donated clothing, shoes, and household goods through the drive-thru at our Fixed Donation Center.
- Engage with donors and communicate the impact donating has on our community, partners, and planet.
- Interact with truck drivers and other team members to organize and recycle donations in an indoor and outdoor situation.
- Help sustain and maintain a clean and orderly Fixed Donation Center, based on company operational standards.
- Work safely and efficiently in loading and unloading donor vehicles and box trucks.
- Possess the ability to regularly work in the heat, the cold and in wet weather conditions.
- Loading and unloading carts.
- Inspecting and sorting clothing, shoes, and other items.
- Prepping and organizing products for recycling.
- Other duties may be assigned by a working supervisor.
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Strong work ethic.
- Able to understand and execute company policies and procedures.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills with a strong ability to prioritize.
- Capable of building and sustaining relationships with peers, management, and donors.
- Able to accurately keep records and communicate progress to management.
- Demonstrated ability to simultaneously manage multiple activities at one time.
- Naturally mission driven, guided by core values.

Physical Demands:
- Occasionally - Carrying up to 50 lbs., pushing and pulling up to 25 lbs., lifting up to 50 lbs., climbing up to 14-foot height, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, handling and smelling.
- Frequently - Walking on tile/concrete, bending, feeling, and reaching waist/overhead level.
- Continuously - Standing on tile/concrete, talking, seeing, and hearing.
Other:
- Mostly regular and weekend hours, occasionally working evenings and holiday hours as needed.
- Working environment includes inside of building with controlled temperatures and outside conditions with varying weather and temperatures.
