The Lounge Server at The Crossing is not simply delivering beverages—they are curating the guest’s rhythm of experience. This role exists to anticipate, personalize, and elevate each interaction, creating a seamless progression from arrival to departure. Service is gracious, articulate, and intuitive; balancing refined precision with genuine warmth. The Lounge Server is responsible for owning the guest experience end-to-end, ensuring every detail—from cocktail delivery to conversational tone — reflecting a Forbes 5-Star standard.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Welcome each guest with poise, eye contact, and a warm, personalized greeting.
Guide guests through the lounge experience with confidence and clarity, adapting to their pace and intent.
Take and deliver food and beverage orders with precision, elegance, and timing awareness.
Maintain full ownership of the guest experience from first contact through farewell.
Read cues and proactively respond to guest needs before they are expressed.
Recognize returning guests and apply preferences seamlessly.
Offer thoughtful enhancements (pairings, pacing, second rounds) that feel natural,
not transactional.
Maintain complete knowledge of beverage program and spirit profiles and Mediterranean-inspired menu pairings.
Preparation methods, ingredients, and presentation standards.
Communicate offerings with refined, descriptive language—never scripted, always conversational.
Deliver service that is: polished but not rigid, attentive but never intrusive, and confident, calm, and emotionally aware.
Maintain a clean, composed environment, ensuring tables and lounge areas reflect
Own all guest concerns immediately and personally.
Resolve issues with grace, urgency, and accountability, ensuring the guest feels: Heard, Values, and Fully cared for.
Adhere strictly to all alcohol service regulations.
Demonstrate sound judgment in managing guest safety and well-being.
Uphold all cleanliness, safety, and operational standards.
REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
Previous experience in upscale bar or lounge service preferred.
Strong knowledge of spirits, wine, and cocktail culture.
Ability to communicate with clarity, confidence, and emotional intelligence.
Professional presence aligned with luxury standards.
Ability to perform in a fast-paced, high-expectation environment.
Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Required certifications (food handling, alcohol service).
