Job Description

Administer the company safety program to ensure a safe, controlled, and risk-free environment while following all regulatory and company safety standards, policies, and procedures.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage, train, and provide performance feedback to office staff; assign duties to ensure productivity, accuracy, and efficiency.   Duties would include payroll.

  • Work closely with site leadership to prevent and resolve operational, administrative, and compliance issues.

  • Maintain and organize office documentation, including employee records, reports, and other relevant paperwork; including employee onboarding.

  • Serve as a point of contact for internal and external communications, ensuring professional correspondence.

  • Prepare reports, schedules, and presentations for leadership and team meetings.

  • Audit and submit site accessorial charges and site follow up as required

  • Scheduling of lumpers and container loads

  • CFIA liaison for the site

  • Manage overtime and job postings for the site

  • Support audit preparation, record-keeping, and compliance initiatives, including safety and regulatory documentation as required.

  • Assist in implementing company policies, office procedures, and administrative programs.

  • May be required to work off-shift hours as needed to support team or operational demands.

  • Ordering supplies for the site and while maintaining kanban system

  • Other duties as assigned

Minimum Requirements (Knowledge, Skills, Abilities):

  • Business related post secondary education or equivalent work experience.

  • 2+ years experience in office administration, supervision, or related role.

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and other standard office software.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills; able to interact effectively with internal and external stakeholders.

  • Highly organized with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.

  • Comfortable adapting to changing work schedules, including occasional off-shift hours.

  • First Aid Certification

  • Ability to work in a professional office environment; may involve exposure to varying temperatures in certain work areas.

The compensation range for this job profile is $60,900 - 95,200. For this specific role we are targeting a base salary in the range of $60,000 to $85,000.

The compensation package offered will depend on the candidate’s ability to meet the requirements of the role and a range of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to their skill set, years and depth of experience, certifications, and location.

 

Pay Range:$60,900.00 - $95,200.00
