The primary role of the Blending Supervisor is to organize, direct and assist in the formulation and mixing of all blended products within quality and safety guidelines
Primary Responsibilities:
The duties for this position include but are not limited to the following:
- Accurately pick, measure and blend formulas using standard operating procedures and GMPs.
- Supervise and direct others in blending and batching.
- Operate blenders, mixers, cookers and ancillary equipment without direction and within SOP and process guidelines.
- Ensure proper lot coding, prepare samples for lab testing and work closely with packaging to ensure timely preparation.
- Continually monitor product quality and advise of quality issues.
- Monitor and report on food safety issues when perceived.
- Maintain accurate records and paperwork.
