About This Role
The Education and Outreach Specialist assists with planning and delivering museum programming and engagement, including but not limited to leading tours, classes, hands-on art projects, events, and outreach for audiences including early childhood, school-aged, university, adult, and/or special populations.

The Marianna Kistler Beach Museum of Art furthers the teaching, research, and service missions of Kansas State University by collecting, studying, caring for, and presenting the visual art of Kansas and the region. The Museum’s exhibitions and programs connect regional art, culture, and interests with the larger world.

What You'll Need to Succeed
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma (or equivalent)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in education, art, museum studies, or a related field.
- Experience working with children, college students, and/or senior citizens, especially teaching.
- Experience with art history, studio art processes, educational programs, nonprofits, and/or museums.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
