Who are we looking for?

We’re seeking a Lead Wastewater Treatment Process Engineer to join our Water Group, based in Brisbane, Sunshine Coast, or Gold Coast.

You will play a pivotal role leading the successful technical delivery of wastewater treatment projects for our clients including new and upgraded STPs, reuse schemes and biosolids projects from concept to detailed design and project delivery.

Working with a flexible, welcoming and high-performing team, this position offers a variety of work and will see you:

  • Play a leadership role in process planning and design for water and wastewater treatment infrastructure.
  • Deliver high-quality process investigations, analysis and design across the full design lifecycle.
  • Be recognized as a trusted advisor to our clients.
  • Leading and winning work and market-led innovative offerings. Take a leading role in driving proposals and our pursuit strategy.
  • Provide technical governance / design reviews.
  • Mentoring and coaching of developing team members.

 

What you will bring to the team:

  • Engineering degree and RPEQ, or ability to obtain.
  • Significant relevant experience in wastewater treatment process engineering, ideally gained within a consultancy environment.
  • Demonstrated skills and experience in the operation, planning and/or design of wastewater treatment process infrastructure and associated works.
  • Experience with leading and supporting delivery of bids for local and national clients.
  • Desire to support the development and mentoring of our graduate and developing engineers.
