Work Schedule Hours: Mon-Fri 6:00am-4:00pm, Saturdays as needed.

Position Overview:  Drivers will operate yard hostlers, pallet jacks and forklifts assignments in warehouses, depots and/or terminals. Individual must represent us in a professional manner and follow safety guidelines at all times. 

 Important Job Functions:

• Responsible to maintain a neat and orderly storage lot oriented toward maximizing efficiency in servicing the customer needs
• Responsible for accounting for records involving trailer numbers and position of vehicles
• Must function and interact on a daily basis with operations managers and / or depot managers and comply with safety requirements
• Must communicate using cellular telephone or 2-way radio with operations, and personnel in a courteous and professional manner
• Proper use of Airline/Electrical hookup/and Backing procedure is a must
• Follow all company policies, guidelines, and quality procedures
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned
• On a daily basis, inspect and perform minor maintenance on the equipment
• Assist in maintaining the security of the warehouse and yard
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Valid License 
• Willing to load and unload

Other Skills/Abilities:

• Must be able to understand written and spoken instructions
• May be working in crowded industrial spaces, so safety awareness is key
• Some assignments include responsibility to clean trailers

$20-25 an hour based on experience
