THE ROLE
At El Car Wash, Regional Managers are how we scale without losing what makes us great. You lead operational performance, team development, and guest experience across 4–7 car wash locations—developing Site Managers who run their businesses independently, owning your regional P&L, and executing company strategy in the field every single day.
Reports To: Area Director of Operations
Travel: 80–90% within region
Hours: Minimum 50 hours/week; flexibility required for evenings, weekends, and holidays
WHAT YOU'LL OWN
Drive regional performance - Oversee daily operations across 4–7 locations — ensuring consistency in service, quality, safety, and profitability at every site.
Develop Site Managers - Coach, develop, and grow high-performing Site Managers and ASMs. Your best output is a leader who doesn't need you present to succeed.
Own the P&L - Manage labor and operational expenses with full accountability for EBITDA. You know your numbers and you act on them — not just report them.
Run structured site visits - Conduct regular audits to evaluate execution, coach leaders, and identify improvement opportunities — not just 'check-ins.' You leave every site better than you found it.
Turn data into decisions - Leverage KPIs, customer feedback, and performance data to drive operational decisions and implement improvement strategies across your region.
Build succession depth - Identify and develop high-potential team members across your sites to build a strong leadership pipeline before you need it.
Champion culture and compliance - Foster consistency in team development, staffing practices, and a strong workplace culture. Ensure OSHA, PCI, and safety standards are met — every site, every time.
Support growth - Lead new store openings, re-openings, and change initiatives. Partner with People Success, L&D, and Marketing to drive site-level success.
WHAT YOU BRING
- 3+ years of multi-site leadership experience in retail, hospitality, or service operations — car wash industry preferred
- Track record of developing Site Managers who outgrow the role — not just managing them
- Financially accountable — you own EBITDA and can walk through your numbers and explain variance
- Operationally rigorous — you audit sites, identify gaps, and build concrete correction plans
- Strong communicator equally effective with frontline teams and senior leadership
- Experience supporting new store openings or acquisitions is a strong plus
- Familiarity with Jolt, ECWU, Monday.com, or UKG is a plus
- Knowledge of car wash equipment, maintenance practices, and safety regulations
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) — strong plus in FL markets
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required; minimum 50 hours/week
