Position Summary

Under the direction and supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist, the Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) provides skilled physical therapy treatments to help residents improve mobility, strength, balance, and overall functional independence.

Key Responsibilities of Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)  

  • Administer physical therapy treatments according to established plans of care
  • Assist residents with therapeutic exercises, gait training, and functional mobility
  • Monitor and document resident progress and responses to treatment
