Job Description

For roles that are 100% remote or hybrid, you must have access to a reliable high-speed internet connection to support daily job responsibilities. A minimum bandwidth of 50 Mbps download and 5 Mbps upload is required. Those fully remote associates residing in states where service is required by contract, law, or regulation will be allowed to submit for reimbursement.

Role Overview

The IT Manager, Infrastructure Audit & Compliance is responsible for supporting both internal and external audits, ensuring IT infrastructure compliance, and implementing robust controls to safeguard organizational integrity and maintain regulatory adherence. The successful candidate will effectively integrate technical infrastructure expertise with sound governance and risk management practices.

Work Arrangement

  • This is a hybrid, office based position at our Ellis Preserve office located in Newtown Square, PA
     

Responsibilities

  • Perform IT infrastructure audits (internal/external, SOC 1 & 2, MAR, HITRUST, HIPAA, Controlled Self Assessments, ISCA/HSAG, HEDIS/LTSS)
  • Review of IT policies and documentation for regulatory compliance (NIST, COBIT, ISO 27001)
  • Identify and address compliance gaps and risks in systems and networks
  • Develop corrective action plans with assigned owners and manage changes
  • Prepare audit reports for leadership and external auditors
  • Maintain process flows, controls, and policy documentation
  • Track regulatory changes and update controls as needed
  • Train IT staff on compliance procedures
  • Support implementation and monitoring of IT controls
  • Liaise with internal audit, legal, risk management, and external auditors
     

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree Computer Science, IT, MIS or related field
  • At least three (3) or more years experience with IT infrastructure, audit, risk or compliance
  • Understanding of networks, servers, virtualization, cloud, and security
  • Proficient with COBIT, NIST 800‑53, ISO 27001, SOX, PCI DSS, GDPR, HIPAA, HITRUST
  • Direct auditing experience: assessments, controls testing, process documentation
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and reporting skills
  • Communicates effectively with technical and governance teams
     

Other Skills

  • Experience with compliance tools (e.g., Tenable, Qualys, cybersecurity risk platforms)
  • Knowledge of automated control testing and ongoing monitoring
  • Compliance implementation experience in hybrid environments (on-prem/cloud)
