Green Oasis is a premier landscape design/build company serving Western Wisconsin & Eastern Minnesota. We are currently seeking highly motivated and enthusiastic individuals who are looking to develop our Landscape department and further a career in the Green industry as a Hardscape Foreman.
We are currently recruiting for crew Foremen & Assistant Foremen to lead a crew of 2-3 team members. What are we looking for? A well-qualified candidate must possess the following traits and skills:
- General landscaping installation and maintenance experience with excellent references.
- Foreman candidates must have a minimum of 3 years in a lead or supervisory role.
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
- Ability to read, understand, and implement landscape designs, drawings and plans.
- Knowledge, hands-on experience and aptitude to properly install retaining walls, freestanding walls, paver patios, natural stone walls, water features, plantings, etc.
- General plant knowledge, extensive plant/growing knowledge a plus.
- Operational experience with skid loaders, truck with trailer, bed edger, sod cutter, vibrating plate compactor, vibratory plow, and other landscaping specific tools and equipment.
- Basic or advanced mechanical and small engine aptitude and/or repair experience is an advantage.
- Must be able to successfully lead a crew of 2-4 team members, while actively participating in the project/installation.
- Snow removal familiarity and equipment operation skills.
- Punctual and reliable with availability to work seasonal hours, which may require long days based on production schedule.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including customer interaction, email, change orders, etc.
- A positive, enthusiastic attitude and strong work ethic.
