Do you want to help us build the DNA of tech.?  Vishay Semiconductor Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. is currently seeking applicants for a Staff Engineer EOL Assembly Process.

Job Location: Krubong, Melaka, Malaysia

What you will be doing:

  • Responsible for EOL Assembly Process Engineering Vishay Assembly Production at Subcon

  • Drive improvement project to support Product KPI such as Quality, Yield, Hold Lot Rate and Disposition Cycle Time

  • Support package transfer and new package introduction

  • Drive EOL assembly process/parameter/procedure set-up, qualification and implementation

  • Review and establish EOL Assembly Operation Baseline specifications & procedures

  • Coordinate with operation to get the needed support for engineering evaluations and other engineering activities

  • Define statistical test methods to optimize yield and drive quality defect reduction programs

  • Review corrective actions for effectiveness and ensure they are implemented and fanned out as needed

  • Support customer complain verification/analysis and action prevention

  • Reporting to the Subcon Operation Manager

What you will bring along:

  • 5-10 years in Assembly Process Engineering with hand-on experience on Power Discrete and/or Power Management Package, e.g., Package Assembly with Cu Clip are highly preferred.

  • Proficiency in English Language, Problem Solving, communication & presentation skill

  • Works efficiently under pressure

  • Be able to make overseas trip by request.

  • Bachelor or Master degree in Electronics or Electrical Engineering.
