Job Description

Job Summary:  We are hiring a Lead Recruiter who will own go-to-market talent acquisition across EMEA - partnering with senior leaders to identify and close top sales candidates who will drive Clearwater’s international growth. You will be a trusted advisor to our EMEA leadership team, shaping hiring strategy, elevating our employer brand, and building pipelines in competitive fintech and financial services markets

Responsibilities:

  • Own executive and GTM hiring across EMEA - lead end-to-end recruitment for senior sales, pre-sales, account management, and leadership roles across the UKI, Continental Europe, and emerging EMEA markets.

  • Partner with the C-suite and senior stakeholders - act as a strategic hiring advisor to VPs, MDs, and regional leaders, translating business growth plans into targeted talent strategies.

  • Hunt and engage passive executive talent - build and maintain warm pipelines of high-calibre commercial and leadership candidates through proactive sourcing, networking, and relationship management.

  • Shape our EMEA employer brand - represent Clearwater at industry events, executive forums, and across digital channels to position us as an employer of choice in financial technology.

  • Deliver insight-driven recruiting - use data, market intelligence, and competitive analysis to advise hiring managers on compensation benchmarking, talent availability, and time-to-fill expectations.

  • Raise the bar on hiring quality - consistently hit metrics on time-to-fill, diversity, internal mobility, and cost-per-hire.

  • Champion process improvement - identify and implement enhancements to our recruiting workflows, tools, and candidate experience to keep pace with a fast-growing international business.

  • Coach and mentor - support the development of fellow team members and contribute to a culture of recruiting excellence across the wider Talent Acquisition function.

  • Sit side-by-side with hiring managers and executives to collaborate quickly and efficiently – you will be based at our London office in Moorgate 4 days per week (Mon-Thurs)

What You'll Bring

  • 7+ years in talent acquisition with a demonstrable track record of hiring senior commercial, sales, or executive professionals.

  • Financial services or fintech expertise - you understand the insurance, asset management, or investment technology landscape and know where top talent sits.

  • Executive search capability - you have sourced and closed director-level and above hires, whether in-house or via an executive search firm.

  • Go-to-market hiring fluency - you’ve recruited across sales, pre-sales, solutions, partnerships, and client success functions and speak the language of revenue-generating teams.

  • Stakeholder gravitas - you’re confident presenting to and influencing senior leaders, with outstanding communication and advisory skills.

  • EMEA market knowledge - you understand the nuances of hiring across UK, European, and broader EMEA geographies including employment norms, compensation expectations, and talent pools.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with Workday Recruiting or similar modern applicant tracking systems.

  • Background in SaaS or enterprise software recruiting, particularly in high-growth, tech companies.

  • Employer branding experience — you’ve built recruiting content, managed social channels, or led events that moved the needle on talent attraction.

  • Additional European languages are a strong plus for our multi-market mandate, however not essential.

What We Offer

  • High-impact, high-visibility work — you’ll directly influence the leadership bench and commercial engine of a fast-scaling public company.

  • Continuous development — investment in your professional growth, training, and career progression.

  • Competitive total compensation — salary, bonus, and a comprehensive benefits package including health, vision, and dental.

  • A seat at the table — join a team-focused culture that values innovation, ownership, and the people who make it happen
