Job Description

 

SUMMARY:

Deal card games as assigned. Maintain the highest standards of customer service, game protection and integrity in the Table Games department. Work as a Floor Supervisor as scheduled.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS, DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Perform functions of the Floor Supervisor as assigned (see Floor Supervisor’s job description
  • Deal cards, shuffle, make change, take and pay customer bets.
  • Communicate with customers to answer questions
  • Implement all dealing procedures
  • Performs other duties as assigned

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: 

  • One year dealing experience in a casino with similar betting limits and games
  • Prior dealing experience in roulette and blackjack
  • Ability to work effectively with coworkers and the public
  • Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing
  • Knowledge of effective money handling procedures
  • Ability to make change and mentally perform basic math calculations
  • Skilled in resolving customer and employee relation issues

EDUCATION:

  • High School Diploma or GED (Preferred)

LICENSE REQUIREMENTS:

Must be able to successfully pass a pre-employment drug screen, background investigation, and maintain a Pauma Gaming Commission License.

PHYSICAL/MENTAL REQUIREMENTS: (*Constantly, Frequently, Occasionally)

  • Constantly walking and standing
  • Constant hearing, seeing and talking
  • Constantly balancing, bending, reaching, twisting, holding, wrist motion, and stooping

WORKING CONDITIONS:

  • Work is performed indoors in a climate-controlled environment
  • Close spaces while working with others
  • Excessive noise and smoke
