Job Description

Job Title: Housekeeping Inspector

 

Job Summary: Ensure the highest cleanliness and service standards at The Current Hotel, part of the Marriott Autograph Collection- a portfolio of unique hotels. As a Housekeeping Inspector, you will play a vital quality control role, inspecting guest rooms and public areas to ensure they meet the hotel’s exceptional standards and creating a flawless experience for every guest.

 

Essential Functions:

·      Conduct thorough inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to ensure cleanliness, functionality, and adherence to hotel standards.

·      Provide feedback and coaching to housekeeping staff to maintain consistent excellence in service and attention to detail.

·      Document and report any maintenance issues or room discrepancies, collaborating with appropriate departments for resolution.

·      Assist in organizing daily assignments and ensuring timely completion of all housekeeping tasks.

·      Monitor inventory levels for cleaning supplies, guest amenities, and linens, coordinating replenishment as necessary.

·      Uphold health and safety protocols, ensuring compliance with hotel and regulatory standards.

·      Respond to guest requests and concerns professionally, enhancing guest satisfaction and loyalty.

 

Qualifications:

·      Previous experience in housekeeping or hospitality, with quality control or inspection experience preferred.

·      Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.

·      Strong interpersonal and communication abilities to provide feedback and work collaboratively with the team.

·      Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

·      Familiarity with Marriott standards and systems is a plus but not required.

·      Flexibility to work varied schedules, including weekends and holidays.

 

Physical Requirements:

·      Ability to stand, walk, and climb stairs throughout the duration of the shift.

·      Frequently lift, push, pull, or carry items weighing up to 25 pounds, and occasionally up to 50 pounds.

·      Perform repetitive motions such as bending, crouching, and reaching.

·      Tolerance for exposure to cleaning agents and varying temperatures in work environments.
