    Position Information
     
    The Lampeter-Strasburg School District is seeking Certified Substitute Teachers throughout the school year. Because this need arises across all curricular areas, Certified Substitute Teachers in all subjects and grade levels are necessary. It is our obligation, whenever possible, to assign a person certified in the subject area being taught.

    The Lampeter-Strasburg School District is also seeking Emergency Certified Substitute Teachers. Emergency Certification is available to an individual who holds a Bachelor's degree in any field, but does not hold a teaching certification. In order to obtain Emergency Certification, you must participate in the Lancaster-Lebanon IU13 Guest Teacher Program. 

    2025-2026 Rate: $150 per day

    Required Qualifications Upon Offer of Employment:
    1. Current PA Criminal History background check
    2. Current FBI Criminal background check
    3. Current Child Abuse background check
    4. Proof of TB test, results must be within the past year
    Once all paperwork is submitted, it will be reviewed, and the applicant, if qualified and selected, will be contacted to schedule an interview and complete clearances and any additional paperwork.
