Job Description

The Food and Medical Supplies Delivery Driver is responsible for delivering food, medications and supplies to and from Centers, participants, and other facilities in a timely and accurate manner.

  • Utilizes routing software to coordinate scheduling and delivery of medications and supplies.
  • Load and unloads food and supplies in and out of InnovAge vehicles, in a timely and safe manner.
  • Transports and delivers food and supplies to requested InnovAge Greater Colorado PACE and associated facilities, makes sure that items are delivered to the specified individuals and that appropriate signatures and/or confirmations are received.
  • Delivers food and supplies in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Maintains the safety and cleanliness of assigned vehicle and coordinates the scheduling of maintenance with the Transportation Manager.
  • Drives InnovAge vehicles in a safe and responsible manner which includes; utilizing defensive driving skills, following InnovAge policies, procedures and assigned routes.
  • Assists with other tasks that fall outside of deliveries, as requested.

REQUIRED

  • High school diploma or GED required. 
  • Requires current state issued driver’s license and excellent driving record.

PREFERRED

  • Bi-lingual
