Position Responsibilities:Client & Engagement Leadership
Serve as the senior leader for large, complex government contracting engagementsAct as a primary escalation point for client matters, ensuring timely resolution and strong client relationshipsMaintain oversight of engagement commitments, deliverables, and timelinesAnticipate client needs and identify opportunities to enhance service delivery and long-term valueDelivery Oversight & Operational Management
Oversee large-scale engagements with significant scope, transaction volume, and regulatory complexityEnsure accuracy, timeliness, and consistency of deliverables in alignment with contractual and compliance requirementsCoordinate work across multiple functional areas to ensure alignment, accountability, and effective executionMonitor engagement economics, staffing models, and workload distribution to support sustainable deliveryTeam Leadership
Lead, mentor, and develop a large, multi-level service delivery organizationProvide strategic direction and coaching to managers and senior leadersPromote a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvementPractice Leadership & Innovation
Drive innovation in service delivery models, workflows, and technology utilizationShare best practices and insights gained from complex engagements to support practice evolutionServe as a leader and ambassador for the Client Accounting Services practice, supporting firm growth and initiativesQualifications:Required
12+ years of progressive experience in client accounting services, outsourced accounting, advisory roles, or as an internalController or Director of Accounting leading a large accounting or finance organizationExtensive experience within the government contracting industryDemonstrated expertise with Deltek CostpointProven experience leading large, complex accounting organizations or client engagementsSignificant experience managing sizable teams and working across multiple functional areasStrong client engagement, communication, and leadership skillsPreferred
