Job Description
Responsibilities

The Senior Analyst, Procurement will support the execution of strategic and tactical sourcing initiatives and supplier management activities across Related’s portfolio. This role will contribute to the development and implementation of sourcing strategies, with a focus on delivering measurable cost savings, maximizing total value, and ensuring effective adoption of preferred suppliers and contracted solutions across business units. This individual will partner with internal stakeholders and cross-functional teams to enhance supplier performance, track and realize savings, and improve overall procurement outcomes, including management of supplier agreements and rebate programs.

 

This position will report into the Vice President of Procurement and will be based in our New York office, operating on a hybrid work schedule. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Support and lead low- to mid-complexity sourcing events (e.g., RFQs and RFPs), including development of bid materials, pricing analysis, and award recommendations
  • Partner with Procurement leadership on larger sourcing initiatives, including spend analysis, market analysis, supplier evaluation, and competitive benchmarking
  • Support negotiations to achieve cost savings and favorable commercial terms
  • Conduct spend analysis, market benchmarking, and category analysis to identify cost savings and value optimization opportunities
  • Drive implementation and adoption of preferred suppliers and contracted solutions across business units
  • Partner with stakeholders to address adoption challenges and improve compliance with procurement policies and agreements
  • Monitor off-contract spend and support vendor consolidation efforts
  • Monitor supplier performance and support resolution of service and operational issues
  • Track and manage supplier agreements, including key terms, pricing structures, and contract expirations
  • Monitor and track rebate programs to ensure accurate capture and reporting
  • Track and report realized savings associated with sourcing initiatives, including validating outcomes against negotiated terms and identifying variances
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to support procurement initiatives
  • Support additional procurement projects as needed

Compensation

The anticipated base salary range for this position is listed below. In addition to a competitive base salary, you will be eligible to receive discretionary bonus incentives and a comprehensive benefits package.

 

Anticipated base salary range: $80,000 - $95,000

Actual base salary within the anticipated range will be determined by several components including, but not limited to, the individual's experience, skills, qualifications, and market factors.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical or business-related field
  • 3-4 years of experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, consulting, or related role
  • Experience supporting or leading sourcing events, including RFQs and RFPs
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and project management skills, including experience with pricing analysis and cost evaluation
  • Highly motivated and results-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and execute in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively across all levels of the organization
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and follow-through capabilities
  • Experience across indirect spend categories is a plus
