The Patient Accounts intern will work under the supervision of the Patient Accounts and Medical Billing Supervisors. The intern will support Patient Account Representatives and Collectors in their daily workflows of claim submission, patient statement generation, processing of payments, review of account receivables, and denial management, to include other duties as needed.
The ideal candidate will be a student interested in, or currently pursuing, a career involving Business Office operations in a healthcare organization.
The GVMH summer internship is a 10-week program, held June 1, 2026 - August 7, 2026.
The intern will work 24 hours per week at $15.00 per hour.
