Pay Range: $55,000 - $65,00 per year (depending on experience)

Job Type: Full Time

Typical Schedule: Monday through Friday 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM

Role Summary

The Intermediate/Senior Bookkeeper is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing day-to-day accounting functions, and supporting the Financial Manager with month-end and audit preparation. This role requires strong attention to detail, organization, and the ability to handle multiple accounting processes with minimal supervision. 

 


Responsibilities

  • Maintain and record all financial transactions accurately in the accounting system
  • Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable, including invoicing and collections
  • Perform bank, credit card, and general ledger reconciliations
  • Prepare and assist with month-end closing activities
  • Ensure all supporting documentation is organized and audit-ready
  • Assist external auditors by gathering required documentation and responding to requests
  • Process or coordinate payroll by submitting accurate data to payroll providers
  • Maintain records related to employee benefits (e.g., pension plans, insurance) and liaise with HR as needed
  • Monitor cash flow and report any discrepancies or concerns
  • Assist in improving accounting procedures and internal controls
  • Support the Financial Manager with ad hoc financial and administrative tasks
