POSITION PURPOSE AND SUMMARY

Under supervision and in accordance with established procedures and standards, it assembles, prepares and restocks food items for patient staff and visitor meal service.  Performs all duties in a cost-effective manner and in accordance with accepted food safety and sanitation standards.

 

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

• Requires four-year experience in food preparation and/or volume feeding operations, preferably in a health care setting.


• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.


• Any Culinary Arts training is an asset.

• Demonstrates analytical abilities.
