Job Description

Position Details:

We are seeking reliable and compassionate caregivers to provide care on an ongoing basis.

The ideal candidates should have experience in homecare, be patient, and be able to provide engagement, while assisting with daily activities.

 

Ideal Candidates:

  • Warm and patient personality

  • Excellent time management skills

  • Experience in home care

  • Ability to provide engaging and safe care

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Flexible

 

Requirements:

  • Must be at least 18 years old

  • Available for 4, 6, 8 or 12 hour shifts, mornings or evenings, weekdays and weekends

  • Must have a driver’s license, reliable vehicle and insurance

  • Minimum of 2 years of home care experience

  • Self-directed and independent

  • Alzheimer’s/Dementia experience is a plus

  • Hoyer exp is a plus

  • High School Diploma or GED

  • Certified Nurse Assistant certification a plus

 

Responsibilities:

  • Driving client to appointments

  • Assisting with bathing, dressing, and personal care

  • Helping with transfers, mobility, and repositioning

  • Providing oral, hair, skin, and nail care

  • Incontinence care and toileting

  • Assisting with feeding and PT exercises

  • Offering socialization, engagement, and support

  • Meal preparation and cooking

  • Medication reminders

  • Client laundry and light housekeeping

  • Running errands and grocery shopping

  • Maintaining a safe and comfortable home environment
