IMS Care Center is currently searching for a professional, compassionate, and knowledgeable individual to fill the position of Project Manager. The Project Manager for the Lab will be responsible for Oversee the strategic and operational execution of laboratory-based projects, acting as the bridge between scientific teams, operational departments, and external clients. Focus on day-to-day lab operations and responsible for budget, final data delivery and closeout. Instill the IMS mission, vision and values in the work performed.
Responsibilities:
- Project Leadership & Execution: Oversee all project stages, including scope definition, planning, and task management. Ensure that deliverables meet quality standards and are completed on schedule.
- Client & Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for sponsors, physicians, and internal laboratory functions. You will lead kick-off meetings and provide regular status updates to ensure alignment.
- Financial & Resource Oversight: Proactively monitor study budgets, manage purchase orders, and track expenses to ensure financial performance
- Regulatory & Quality Compliance: Ensure all activities strictly adhere to industry standards like Good Laboratory Practice (GLP), ISO, or regulations in collaboration with the Medical Director of the Lab.
- Risk Management: Independently identify and mitigate potential risks, such as timeline delays, or supply chain issues.
- Pull reports on tests performed and denials. Work with revenue cycle team and operations to address the denials. Along with OBL reports.
- Generate reports on orders submitted by providers and help with analysis.
- Identify potential problem areas, develop a system for objectively monitoring performance and creatively seek solutions to foster quality improvement.
- Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of patient privacy rights. Maintains confidentiality of all medical, financial, or other sensitive materials and information in printed, electronic or verbal form, which may jeopardize the privacy of patients and/or employees.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in chemistry, Biology, or a related scientific field.
- Requires 3-5 years of laboratory experience in project management
Requirements:
- Considerable knowledge of the pathology of hearing and speech disorders
- Considerable knowledge of the methods used to detect and correct hearing disorders
- Ability to operate audiometric equipment and to interpret the results
- Considerable knowledge of instructional methods used in the work
- Ability to plan individualized treatment programs and administer therapeutic exercises
- Ability to calibrate audiological equipment
- Ability to maintain records, prepare reports and conduct correspondence related to the work
- Ability to communicate with others, both verbally and in writing
- The ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner
