Position Duties
- Conduct chemical reactions to synthesize new materials.
- Monitor reaction kinetics via UV-VIS spectroscopy
- Maintain a laboratory notebook.
- Present research findings weekly.
- Work safely in the laboratory.
- Work with graduate students to conduct research.
Minimum Qualifications
- Sophomore standing or higher
- Have taken Chem 1270 or Chem 1370
- Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biology, Physics, Medical Sciences, Forensics or Geology majors
- Previous lab experience in the Peterson lab
