We are looking for a Trade Assistant who will be responsible for helping and supporting our Glaziers in the assistance of job preparation, site preparation, delivery of glass to the site, and site clean-up.

Our branch is located in Darra QLD and you will work Supporting the Glazing team.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting Glaziers and Contractor Glaziers

  • General labouring assistance including team lifts of glass panels

  • Operating hand & power tools and preparing and cleaning worksites

  • Ensuring the required equipment and Glass and delivered to the site in a timely and safe manner

  • Undertaking and completing assigned tasks with minimal supervision and in compliance with health and safety regulations.

You and your experience:

  • Ideally have experience in lifting and moving glass panels/glazing techniques

  • Must have current & valid C Class license (Automatic)

  • Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team

  • Strong numeracy skills, ability to read, write, comprehend, and speak English clearly and concisely.

  • Ability to utilise a computer to order and process receipt of goods
