Key responsibilities include site safety compliance, routine truck maintenance, and material disposal. Valid Class A or B CDL and strong safety focus are required.
Core Responsibilities & Duties
- Safe Excavation: Operate hydrovac systems to perform daylighting, potholing, trenching, and debris removal.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform pre-trip/post-trip inspections, troubleshoot, and maintain high-pressure water and vacuum systems.
- Site Safety: Establish a safe work area, identify hidden utilities, and adhere to OSHA safety standards.
- Documentation & Compliance: Complete daily logs, waste disposal documentation, and comply with DOT regulations.
- Utility Protection: Use non-destructive, precision digging methods to prevent damage to electrical, gas, or water lines.
