Responsibilities
As a part of our team, you will:
- Locate hardware boards, test setups, cables, and related equipment for HW, SW, Test, and Customer teams.
- Support lab moves, additions, and modifications to keep environments organized and operational.
- Set up PCs and workstations and assist with equipment relocation within the lab.
- Maintain, repair, and configure third-party test and measurement instruments.
- Manage equipment calibration processes to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Investigate network issues and replace defective or malfunctioning networking equipment.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized lab environment for all users.
- Coordinate the return shipment of rental test equipment that is no longer required.
Qualifications
- Currently a candidate for a Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Computer Systems, Computer Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field at an accredited school in Canada.
- Strong computer skills with the ability to learn new tools and systems quickly.
- Effective interpersonal and communication skills for collaborative work environments.
- General knowledge of telecommunications products, technologies, or network concepts.
