Description

CNC Machine Operator will perform duties to set up and operate a number of different computerized numerical controlled machine tools to perform a wide range of turning, drilling and tapping operations on various complex component parts of mechanical shaft seals in a work cell environment in a production mode. This position follows a Monday - Thursday (330pm - 2am) schedule with 10-hour workdays and includes a 20% shift differential. 


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Validate correct material is loaded per the work order traveler
  • Ensure part is load with correct grain direction
  • Secure part within the holding fixture
  • Ensure the programmed dimensions are loaded into the machine correctly
  • Monitor 1st part run at every operation and obtain first part buy off by inspection
  • Deburr parts as needed
  • Ability to complete necessary paperwork and clocking within ERP system


Requirements
  • Minimum Two years’ experience operating 3 or 4 Axis CNC Machines
  • Must be able to do your own setups
  • Be able to read and understand design blueprints/drawings
  • Must be able to operate more than one machine at a time
  • Attention to detail
  • Must be able to use precision measuring instruments to verify the accuracy of your own parts
  • Must be able to identify correct cutters for each job
  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
  • Must be able to successfully complete and pass a pre-employment Drug Screening and Background Check.

$17.00 - $25.00
