About the Role
This role will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing educational programs in collaboration with the sales team, third-party education groups and local dental education organizations. The ideal candidate will have experience in event planning, strong project management skills, and the ability to build relationships with key stakeholders to ensure successful event execution.
Requirements
ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Event Planning & Execution: Organize and manage local dental education events, including venue selection, logistics coordination, and on-site execution as applicable.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with the sales team, third-party education groups and local dental education organizations to align event objectives with business goals.
- Budget Management: Develop and manage event budgets, ensuring cost-effective solutions without compromising quality.
- Marketing & Promotion: Coordinate with the marketing team to promote events through digital channels, emails, and printed materials.
- Speaker & Faculty Coordination: Liaise with key opinion leaders, speakers, and educators to secure their participation and manage their needs.
- Registration & Attendance Management: Oversee attendee registration, confirmations, and post-event follow-up to maximize engagement.
- On-Site Management: Ensure smooth event execution, managing logistics such as AV setup, catering, and materials distribution.
- Shipment Coordination: Manage the shipment of hands-on materials and necessary brochures to event locations to ensure all required resources are available.
- Post-Event Analysis: Collect and analyze feedback to measure event success and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Compliance & Regulations: Ensure all events adhere to industry regulations and company compliance policies.
- Other Duties: Undertake additional responsibilities and tasks as assigned or requested.
- Perform other duties as may be assigned
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Event Management, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in event planning, preferably within the dental, medical, or healthcare industry.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple events simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with internal teams and external partners.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Power Point), CRM (Salesforce preferred), event management software (i.e. cvent, eventbrite) and SAP
This position follows a hybrid work schedule, with on-site presence required Monday through Thursday and remote work available on Fridays. Occasional weekend availability is required to support events at headquarters. This role also requires approximately 20% travel.

The total compensation range for this position is $70,000–$100,000. GC America offers a competitive Total Rewards package, including medical, dental, vision, family-forming benefits, life and disability insurance, and paid time off. Compensation within this range is based on qualifications and experience. GC America reserves the right to modify compensation and benefits at any time.
