Job Description

SALARY RANGE: $18.00 per hour. Lead GTS Kids Camp Counselor assists Director of Tennis with running a smooth operation of the GTS (Golf - Tennis - Swim) Camp.

Essential Functions

  • Must adhere to the company’s Service culture – 4 Keys to creating guests for life. 
  • Must actively participate in team member referral program and be a Talent Ambassador for Silverado Resort.
  • Must participate in all resort required meetings and trainings.
  • Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming, which includes wearing the proper uniform/business attire and nametag.
  • Successfully engages and redirects the attention of multiple children during ongoing exercises and activities.
  • Must participate in all resort required meetings and trainings.
  • Ensure kids are safe at all times.
  • Monitoring signing in and our records.
  • Ensure kids have their equipment and personal belongings.
  • Adhere to kids’ lunch and pool schedule.
  • Support the tennis team and assist as needed.
  • Abide by all resort policies and safety rules.
  • Perform other duties as requested by management.

 

Qualifications

  • Previous experience working with kids is preferred.
  • CPR & First Aid Certifications.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Lifeguard certification is required.

 

Work Conditions and Schedule

  • Flexible and long hours sometimes required.
  • Medium work - Exerting up to 30 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 20 pounds of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects.
  • Must be able to stand and work for extended periods of time.
  • Must be able to bend, stoop or reach as needed.
  • Must be able to work in an outdoor environment with varying temperatures, including temperatures above 100° F.
  • Physical exertion (jogging, running, bending, twisting).
