Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) - West Bloomfield Township, Michigan

We are seeking caring and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to join our team at Marvin and Betty Danto Health Care Center, a Preferred Care Michigan company, in West Bloomfield Township, Michigan. As a CNA on our team, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our residents and patients.

Responsibilities:

• Record all entries on flow sheets, notes, charts, kiosks, etc., in an informative and descriptive manner.
• Report all changes in the resident's condition to the Charge/Staff Nurse as soon as practical.
• Receive the nursing report upon reporting on/off duty and maintain other records as directed.
• Perform and/or assist residents with all hygienic and grooming functions, including dental and mouth care, bathing, dressing, shaving, bowel, and bladder functions.
• Check residents routinely to assure that their personal care needs are being met per the plan of care.
• Provide residents with Social Interactions.
• Present a positive image of the facility to all customers, such as job applicants, families, and the community.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• State certified nursing assistant or successful completion of State Approved Nursing Assistant Training and Competency Evaluation Program.
• Prior experience as a nursing assistant preferred but not required.
• Ability to effectively communicate with patients and other staff.
