About Your New Role
We are looking for an accomplished Talent Acquisition Specialist with experience in recruitment and HR Support to join our team as part of our financial services business. This is a hybrid Talent Acquisition-HR Support role where you will be the primary on-site recruiter and central co-ordinator for local HR operations.
The Maples Group is establishing a centre of excellence in Manila. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of the HR team responsible for supporting the build out of our operations there. As part of our global HR team reporting to the Regional TA Lead for Asia, you will play a key role in:
Recruitment:
- Work with local hiring teams to determine hiring needs and selection criteria.
- Co-ordinate with local vendor for candidate shortlisting, interview scheduling and offer management, through to onboarding/off-boarding and employee inquiries support. Full lifecycle recruitment will be required to supplement vendor sourcing efforts.
- Develop candidate pipelines for business groups and provide regular reporting updates to the business on recruitment efforts.
- Provide support and guidance to the local hiring teams to ensure compliance to the global TA process.
- Seek out market intelligence to gain competitive advantage in attracting and sourcing critical talent pipelines to support current and future hiring needs.
- Work with cross-functional team members to implement TA projects, including career fairs, referral and internal programs, and technology infrastructure.
HR Operations Support
- Act as the local hands-on partner for the remote HRSS team to resolve employee inquiries and facilitate onboarding/offboarding steps.
- Act as the on-site resource for employee questions regarding HMO (medical insurance) and local benefit programs.
- Serve as local liaison for government agencies (SSS, Pag-Ibig, Philhealth and BIR) when required together with payroll vendor to resolve issues or concerns.
- Together with the HRBP, ensure local policy governance and compliance with Philippine labour regulations.
- Provide ad-hoc admin support for the HRBP if needed.
About You
- You have a genuine interest in recruitment and are passionate about talent acquisition and employee support.
- You have at least 3-4 years’ experience and a proven track record in TA and HR support of successfully recruiting for roles across Finance/Accounting, Compliance, Banking, HR – preferably in a COE or shared services environment.
- You are highly organised with the ability to balance workload and manage competing priorities.
- You have superior communication skills that enable you to create compelling candidate narratives and pitch to both internal and external audiences.
- You advocate for diverse talent, and help influence equitable hiring decisions that helps teams scale in an inclusive manner.
- You are proactive with a strong client-centric and quality orientation.
