We are seeking a Customer Experience Enablement Trainer to join our team.

Job Summary

The Customer Experience team is an integral part of the Imprivata organization. This team consists of Professional Services, Customer Success, Customer Renewals, Customer Support, Managed Services, and Education Services. We are looking for an individual who is highly collaborative, proactive, and who possesses a strategic mindset as well as strong attention to technical and end user experience detail. Experience working with cross-functional stakeholders to drive sales transformation through technology and process adoption is foundational to the success of this role. This is a critical role as it is a high-visibility program that will make a significant impact on the organization. You will need to be a dynamic individual that is both curious and empathetic to the significant changes occurring in the organization.

A seasoned, experienced professional with a full understanding of adult learning, technical, and process training and a passion for education and/or a background in a technical and regulated industry, combined with excellent project management, communication, and leadership skills, make for an ideal candidate.

Duties and Responsibilities 

  • Assessing the effectiveness of communication, learning, and Customer Experience organization alignment for change and develop interventions to improve alignment, increase knowledge sharing.
  • Design, Build, and Deliver transformational training courses to accelerate the ability of our global Customer Experience team to effectively understand Imprivata solutions, develop their team via coaching, drive successful customer outcomes, and manage the business with operational excellence.
  • Conduct employee training using a variety of instructional techniques and delivery methods, including classroom-based learning, virtual learning, and 1-1 coaching.
  • Analyze learning needs, develop learning approaches and curricula, and lead the development of in-person, virtual, and on-demand learning programs.
  • Independently manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously, including prioritization, timeline, risks, execution, communication, and conflict management.
  • Monitor and provide proactive communication and risk mitigation for multiple projects and priorities.
  • Create an engaging learner experience in each training class with various training strategies.
  • Work with key internal stakeholders to ensure accurate and effective training content.
  • Provide content and class feedback to course developers to raise the bar on curriculum quality.
  • Mentor and train internal instructors as part of the trainer program.

Required Qualifications

  • 5-7 years of related experience with a bachelor’s degree; education and experience preferably in instructional design or sales enablement related fields.
  • 2+ years of experience directly or indirectly managing project or cross-functional teams
  • Ability to identify, design, and deliver innovative solutions for problems of diverse scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors 
  • Ability to use industry and internal best practices and knowledge to improve products/services or processes, and resolve complex problems or problems where current process or precedent may not exist
  • Familiarity with privacy, security, and cloud computing concepts
  • Experience in a fast-paced, multinational technology company
  • Excellent communications skills including, presenting, editing, and writing as well as accuracy and attention to detail required, and a desire to coach others
  • Strong organizational, planning, problem resolution, presentation, facilitation (in person and virtually), and influencing skills 
  • Ability to connect with people and build relationships that result in an open and effective learning environment
  • Must have experience in developing work plans and project scopes 
  • Experience in Adobe Captivate, TechSmith Camtasia, Articulate Storyline suite preferred
