We are currently seeking a dependable, safety-focused, and customer-oriented Propane & Oil Delivery Driver Trainee to join our team.
What You’ll Do
As a Propane & Oil Delivery Driver Trainee, you’ll begin your career with company-sponsored training to obtain your Class B CDL with X endorsement. While training, you’ll work alongside experienced drivers and learn the skills needed to safely deliver propane and heating oil to residential and commercial customers.
- Attend CDL training and successfully obtain a Class B CDL with X endorsement
- Assist experienced delivery drivers while completing training
- Safely deliver propane and heating oil products to residential and commercial customers
- Provide friendly, professional customer service during deliveries
- Follow all DOT, FMCSA, and company safety policies and procedures
- Complete required paperwork, driver logs, and delivery documentation accurately
- Represent the company in a professional and positive manner
- Maintain a strong commitment to safety, service, and reliability
Qualifications
- Clean Maine driver’s license required
- Ability to travel to and from CDL training school
- Ability to travel to the assigned work location when not attending school
- Willingness to learn and support experienced drivers during training
- Strong work ethic and commitment to safety
- Good communication skills and customer-focused attitude
- Ability to work independently and responsibly
- Must meet all DOT and company hiring requirements
