POSITION PURPOSE:

The Service Delivery Coordinator is a member of the Operations Team that manages the timely delivery of Bluebird Fiber’s services.  The Coordinator is responsible for the post sales management of the service delivery lifecycle in accordance to established processes.  This position requires a broad understanding of Bluebird Fiber’s capabilities, customers, 3rd party provider relationships, and network technologies.  This position requires a strong customer focus, strong organizational skills, project and matrix management, and the ability to complete tasks in a multi-disciplinary team environment.  

Requirements

 

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: 

      3 to 5 years in sales support environment

      Two-Year College/Technical School degree or equivalent experience, preferred

      Telecommunications experience, preferred

 

SKILLS AND ABILITIES: 
Highly motivated-self starter, with the ability to act with customer orientation and be attentive and responsive to customer concerns and needs.
Strong oral and written communications and organizational skills
Strong PC skills (Microsoft Office Suite)
Ability to multi-task and adapt to process changes in demanding working environment
Knowledge of Telecommunication Industry standard LEC GUI systems, preferred

 

Summary

PRIMARY RESPONSIBLILITES

Support sales objectives with timely delivery of service orders and management of internal and external implementation processes
Input and maintain customer orders using provisioning systems/processes
Coordinate with the engineering and operations groups to ensure proper documentation of Bluebird Network’s services (ASR’s, FOC’s, DLR’s, LOA’s, Activation Notifications, etc.) and timely completion of orders for customer acceptance testing
Submit and track orders to 3rd party network providers, as required
Act as customer liaison throughout the post sales process
Work with finance department to track and approve cost of goods sold for all 3rd party orders
Provide support for customer appreciation events and other marketing events
Other tasks as may be needed from time to time
