We are seeking an experienced PeopleSoft HCM Developer to support a mission-critical government program. You will design, develop, test, and maintain PeopleSoft HCM applications, focusing on secure, scalable, and compliant software solutions.
The role involves supporting system integration, data conversions, reporting, and PeopleSoft implementations/upgrades. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in PeopleTools, PeopleCode, and system architecture, with a proven ability to deliver in collaborative, multi-disciplinary environments.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and develop PeopleSoft HCM components including reports, interfaces, conversions, and enhancements
Lead the technical solution design and implementation through the full lifecycle of PeopleSoft projects
Create and maintain functional and technical design documentation
Perform unit testing, issue resolution, and system integration testing
Translate business challenges into effective technical solutions
Develop and execute complex SQL queries and custom modules
Conduct vulnerability research and penetration testing for secure application design
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support system upgrades, patches, and enhancements
Ensure compliance with software standards and secure coding practices
Requirements
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related technical discipline
Minimum 7+ years of PeopleSoft development experience
At least 10 years of total technical experience in large-scale system design and production support
Hands-on experience with PeopleTools 8.55 or higher
Proficient in PeopleCode, Application Engine, Component Interfaces, SQR, and Application Designer
Experience in writing technical design documents and test plans
Strong knowledge of SQL and relational databases
Ability to work in Agile or IPT (Integrated Product Team) environments
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Active DoD Secret clearance (Required)
Desired Qualifications:
Experience with PeopleSoft HCM 9.2
Past participation in large-scale ERP implementations within federal or defense environments
Demonstrated experience in customer-focused, collaborative technical teams
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Familiarity with Portal Technology and Workflow integration
