What will I bedoing?

 

ü Manage procurement activities for goods and services using a variety of methods

ü Develop Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and Requests for Qualifications (RFQs), and oversee the process through contract award

ü Perform requests for bid/quotes and issue purchase orders as applicable

ü Serve as a subject matter expert on procurement policies and procedures

 

KeyQualifications

ü Relevant experience may substitute for education

ü Strong experience procuring commodities and complex services

ü Ability to develop detailed bid specifications and requests for proposals (RFP’s)

ü Knowledge of governmental procurement and OMB standards

ü Experience with purchase order software

ü Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications

 

Do you have… 

ü Bachelor’s degree in an applicable academic discipline orrelatedfield of study   

ü 3years of experienceworking with local government, nonprofit programs, school, or in job-related duties 

 

 

Preferred Qualifications

ü Experience in public procurement or local government

ü Familiarity with RFP, RFQ, and IFB processes

ü Experience handling requisitions and purchase orders
