Certified Medication Aide (Double Weekend Shift)


We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Medication Aide to join our healthcare team, providing essential medication management and support to our residents or patients. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, reliable, and possess a strong understanding of medication administration protocols.


Key Responsibilities:

- Administer prescribed medications to residents or patients accurately and safely according to established protocols

- Monitor residents’ or patients’ responses to medications and report any adverse reactions or concerns to the nursing staff

- Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of medication administration and related activities

- Assist with daily resident or patient care activities, including hygiene, mobility, and nutritional support

- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations regarding medication administration and healthcare standards

- Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement individualized care plans

- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized medication storage area


Skills and Qualifications:

- Current Certified Medication Aide (CMA) certification in the state of employment

- Valid state-specific license or certification to administer medications

- Prior experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in long-term care or assisted living

- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills

- Compassionate, patient-focused approach to care

- Ability to work effectively in a team environment

- Good communication skills and the ability to follow detailed instructions

- Flexibility to work double weekend shifts, including Saturdays and Sundays
