A growing organization is seeking a Webmaster to design, implement, and manage the digital presence of multiple affiliated entities. This role focuses on building, maintaining, and optimizing company websites to ensure strong functionality, performance, and a seamless user experience. The Webmaster will also review basic site analytics and implement improvements to enhance usability and engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Build, maintain, and optimize multiple company websites
- Ensure websites are secure, functional, current, and performing efficiently
- Apply UX best practices to improve usability and accessibility
- Monitor website performance, troubleshoot issues, and resolve technical problems
- Partner with internal teams to update website content and ensure brand consistency
- Conduct routine testing and quality assurance across browsers and devices
- Research and implement new web technologies, tools, and optimization techniques
- Track and report on website analytics to support continuous improvement
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience
- Extensive experience with website development platforms such as WordPress, Squarespace, and Media Temple (or similar)
- Strong UX design expertise
- Proficiency with Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, and Canva
- High attention to detail with experience analyzing digital data to improve performance
- Self-motivated with strong follow-through
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, including overtime as needed
