Junior Regulatory Specialist (1 year contract) in Indonesia - Your future position?

 

As Junior Regulatory Specialist, you will work with the Regulatory Affairs and Product Safety department and contribute to ensuring compliance of Givaudan's fragrance ingredients and compounds with industry, governmental, and customer-specific regulations such as Halal, and their safe use in different consumer products. You will work with a group of experts in regulatory affairs and manage activities such as:

Main Responsibilities

  • Conduct Halal material reviews and verify supporting document adequacy
  • Coordinate directly with Halal auditing bodies in Indonesia to schedule and conduct audits
  • Provide support to regulatory activities as required by business needs
  • Collaborate effectively with other Regulatory Affairs & Product Safety functions and Enterprise Data Management

  • University degree preferably in Food Science, Chemistry, Biology, or a related discipline
  • Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in regulatory or Halal certification roles
  • Experience and working knowledge of Halal Certification Requirements in Indonesia, exposure to international scope is an advantage
  • Fluent in both English and Bahasa Indonesia, written and spoken
