Job Summary:
The Director of Nursing (DON) is responsible for leading and managing the nursing department, ensuring high-quality patient care, and promoting a positive and supportive work environment. As a key member of our executive team, the DON will oversee the development and implementation of nursing policies, procedures, and programs, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead and manage the nursing department, including developing and implementing nursing policies, procedures, and programs
• Oversee the development of departmental budgets and ensure effective use of resources
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including CMS and state regulations
• Foster a positive and supportive work environment, promoting staff development and teamwork
• Develop and maintain relationships with external partners, including physicians, vendors, and community organizations
• Collaborate with other department heads to develop and implement facility-wide programs and initiatives
Requirements:
• Experience: Minimum 2 years, with a proven track record of leadership and management experience in a healthcare setting
• Licensure: RN
