Summary:
- The Line Material Handler is responsible for wrapping & labelling finished pallets and ensuring assigned line has adequate materials throughout production. Fifty percent of the time will be spent palletizing & wrapping pallets, and the other fifty percent will be spent supplying the line with materials utilizing material handling equipment.
Essential Functions:
- Locates materials and supplies by picking and verifying materials and supplies listed on the work order.
- Maintains in-process inventory at the production line by delivering and opening materials and supplies.
- Receives return material and supplies from production by verifying material quantity, placing materials back in stock.
- Prepares finished stock for shipment by labeling, loading, pulling, and securing product.
- Documents product quantity to be shipped by accurately recording cases on pallet sheet.
- Maintains material-handling equipment by completing pre-use inspections, making operator repairs.
- Aware of operational environment to always ensure safety for self and others.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related tasks as needed.
- Operates and maintains various material handling equipment including forklift, pallet jacks, hand trucks and utility carts.
- Maintains organized, clean safe work area.
- Working with RF Scanning equipment to maintain records of merchandise shipped, as well as examine, stock and distribute materials in inventory and on manufacturing lines.
- Finished goods palletizing.
- Performs additional duties assigned.

Work Environment:
- Manufacturing and Warehousing Environment
- Areas with temperature and humidity variations based on local weather
- Protective gear will be required (for eyes, ears, and feet)
Hours:
- Position requires ability to work overtime, varying start times and weekends dependent on business need
- 2nd shift hours: Sunday-Thursday 3pm-11pm
- 3rd shift hours: Sunday-Thursday 11pm-7am
Education:
- High School education or equivalent
- 3-6 months related experience
