Job Description

Work with experienced B&W TA’s to perform a variety of complex technical field assignments involving the installation, Inspection, modification, testing or troubleshooting of air pollution control products and equipment.

  • Perform field service operations that may involve testing and verification of equipment and unusual problems 

    requiring strong technical skills.

  • Develop technical writing skills that will result in the TA being a competent detailed report writer regarding 

    problems encountered, tests performed and work completed.

  • Work with Sr. TA’s to assist in planning and coordinating team efforts.

  • Support Sales efforts, including assisting in presentations when needed.

  • Often work non-standard schedules at field locations with exposure to varying environmental conditions.

  • Learn how to work independently to accomplish tasks and effectively manage time to coordinate multiple jobs.

  • Troubleshoot and repair equipment, applying acquired knowledge and experience to resolve problems.

  • Be adaptable to a changing work environments and able to cope with delays or unexpected events.


  • Associates or Technical School degree applicable to air pollution control equipment applications in industries served 

    by B&W or 2-4 years working in an industrial environment aligned with B&W TA duties and skill sets.

  • Willingness to learn and perform electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills.

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.

  • Initiative and ability to take direction

  • Willingness to travel on assignments up to 70% on average each month.
